Very nice case. Might have to pick one up if not too $$$.

Every time I think of Dingis cases, I can't help but think of Dr. Steve Brule of Brule's rules. If you don't know the great Dr. Just Google him ya dingus!

Its a dignis case, their official site, taobao, amazon, ebay, gmarket (korea Ebay), and independent reseller. but prices do vary, so do compare the cost, and if you also get custom on it.

Btw, joybuy has the 16gb zx300 and if one is willing to wait as the shipping is not the fastest you can get a great deal on it. Right now they have only the silver version in stock, but I'm not sure how longer this paypal code will be active - PAYPAL7OFF takes the zx300 down to $359. Of course, you can wait a day or two for them to restock the back version and as a new member you get coupons, one of which is 20$ off on $200+, so $366 for the 16gb version.

He said the Sony had slightly more separation, detail, and air on balanced than the Cayin. So if they're close to the same price and you don't need android or streaming the Sony would probably be better if you can get it that cheap for battery life alone.
yeah, i'll stream now and then but not that important to me.

hmm, yeah if the difference is that large i definitely go with the cayin

but in my country, zx300 cost the equivalent of $450, and the cayin cost the equivalent of $410
so not a big difference. that's why i'm comparing both DAP

but thank you for your opinion!

Well... I would say at 450 - get the Sony and don't look back...it's basically a finished dap, all the graphics and text look awesome, virtually no bugs so far.
And if you can still be in that budget and want Android then hold out for the Hiby at 479, by all accounts, that IS the Android Dap.
My points about the Cayin are centered around a retail of 369.00. @Hawaiibadboy ...man it ain't that ugly. Maybe it just "looks better in person" or your used to looking really nice s..t:L3000:

yeah I'm leaning to the sony now. but no rush. I'm still waiting for my ciem to be made, so don't really need a DAP until next week. until then I'll wait for more reviews.

I have access to a Multimeter however I have never touched one ever in my life. Would some kind experienced member kindly point me to how I can check the 4.4mm (to 2.5mm) adapter to see if the pin layout are the same and check the ground.

Isn't the 2.5mm AK balanced cable a different pin out?

The Sony 4.4mm

With only a 4.4mm to 2.5mm adapter the Left and Right channels will be out of phase. It wouldn't be a big deal if the 4.4mm's L- and L+ changed places, then the channels would be opposite, and you could just switch the cable plug at the headphone side of things to compensate.
Just checked with a multimeter and the adapter is not phased out and the signal is going to the corresponding earpiece.
