Nothing to loose really. Order from Amazon & return no issue if you don't like within 30 days (so long as undamaged etc.)

If its better SQ plus 30 hrs is still far longer than most DAP's plus isn't this partly less run time as Amp is more powerful?

Just seen & ordered. Bet its a short term drop as was listing at £600. If I import from Japan it was working out at £550. From what I've read I can recode to another region to remove EU volume cap? I'm not in a rush for delivery & I bet 1-2 months is just a cautionary date. My order is showing delivery: 2 Nov. 2017 - 1 Dec. 2017

Fortunately for me, I actually prefer silver over the black on. Might still order a case from Japan.

Now need to decide on B&W PX Headphones or the Sony WH-1000XM2B. Any advise on which?? I fancy some Bluetooth Aptx HD headphones will still use my SE846's balanced.

Any confirmation ZX300 can be used as DAC for a smart phone (not just PC).

I have the X1000 M2 and the quality is astonishing over aptx HD and will be even better over LDAC.

The UK version on Amazon is about the same price as the black one on Accessory jack. But delivery can be as late (to Belgium) as 29th of november.

The Singapore pre-order price (and probably retail price) is SGD 799 which is a hair under GBP 450, with a free screen protector. Pre-orders from 14-31 October with delivery in week 2 and 3 of November. Cheaper than I expected it to be! Just sold my QP1R to make way for this and bought the WH-1000XM2 a week ago, exciting times.

Sony China, hmmm that means acessoryjacket should have stock very soon? And does the back have that info plate (probably because it's the 16 gig model), or is it sans plate like the Japanese one? Just curious, anyways enjoy and look forward to hearing more impressions.
