friend you can go and read sorry its bit long but I really dont like it! I writed there every day or twice a week and shared valuable content with my friends! now I CANT

Talking about that again could lead to the closing of this thread as well. So let's maybe not. You can always contact the moderators or Jude if you want to talk about that thread. Nobody from this thread can help you.

Thanks.

I've read a few pages back since the last post from that thread and I'd rather not bring up the discussion here. I love this thread and it would be better to just stay on topic to avoid further arguments and complications. Let's just hope everything to get sorted out peacefully you guys return to dedicated discussions eventually.

Going back to our topic here, I'm kind of more interested in the upcoming ZX300 firmware update from @MrWalkman since I'm using IEMs already wide enough to my liking. I'll probably revert back to ZX300++ until the next one comes up. Anyway, huge thanks to @MrWalkman, as always, for continuing to give life to this DAP and this thread as well.

Reminded me of Z1R thread after Tyll's review. That's too had to be closed down and then new one was created which is still going strong.

There will be a new version, with a more full, and balanced sound signature. Soundstage won't be as wide, but it will still be wide enough, and also tall.

Stay tuned.

Looking forward to this.

Also, is there anyway to objectively test the sound/soundstage? Where we can see results on a graph. That way we can see what is actually changing rather than by our own ears. Just wondering if this is even a thing

That would be nice. Though I haven't seen on where graph comparisons from DAPs were compared, or I can't remember seeing one.

One can probably try measuring the sound of two different firmwares using the same pair of DAP and IEM, though I doubt the differences in the graph would be too much, only subtle at the most I think.

Is the model name change so okay after firmware upgrade or did I mess something up?

It changes to which custom firmware you install. From your pic, you installed the latest one which is the DMP-300 custom firmware.
