Hey, I owned a Sony NW-ZX300 for a year and loved it. I liked the fact that it was only a music player and DAC. Lost it the other day, ugh. I went online to purchase a new one, but the stock seems to be low everywhere. I don't want to pick up a used one, as per the warranty.
Though I like the warm Sony house sound, I think I'd like more impact and speed this time through. The Hiby R6 Pro has caught my eye (on Amazon). I know that moving from a dedicated DAP to a Play Store-compatible and wifi-equipped Android DAP will be a different experience. Has anyone here upgraded from a Sony NW-ZX300 to a Hiby R6 Pro and preferred the Hiby? (I did a quick search but didn't dig up anything useful.)
I have no experience with any of the other ~$700-800 players, like the A&K SR15 or the Fiio X7II.
