Sony NW-ZX300

I am happy with pairing ZX300 with N3BP on balanced out and WH1000XM2 on bluetooth. On flights, i am split between ZX300 and DP-X1 (i paired it with FiiO F9 Pro on balanced out). I like the added functionality of DP-X1 but the form factor, battery life and build quality of ZX300 wins.

Actually, BT 5.0 is not a requirement for LDAC as 4.2 has a data rate of 1 Mbps which is sufficient for LDAC and that's why the p10 supports LDAC even though it doesn't have BT 5.0.

Yes you’re totally right since I streamed in LDAC with my Xperia Z3+ which didn’t have Bluetooth 5.0, my mistake.
The important thing however is to have AT LEAST Oreo 8.0 if you don’t own a Sony smartphone..

My problem is, Huawei P20 and the pro version was announced to be the first non Sony phone with LDAC, and the P10 was a year before the P20.

So I'm sure it doesnt have LDAC unless it came with a ota update.

Dears,

Can the player display the kind of codec and bitrate of the songs being played? The bigger models can. Thanks.
Yes but you have to navigate in a sub menu where you can find all the detailed info on the tracks itself...

I have a P10 and I recently received ota update to oreo 8.0.0. My ZX300 work in LDAC mode (checked through developer mode).
