You are not the only one . As a ZX2 owner, you have to give TRRS a chance, or else it would be a waste. TRS regular 3.5 is good, but TRRS is much better and immersive

i also bought the full Gonemad version , 4 euros seemed like nothing compared to the sonic enjoyment i get out of this player
 
No more buys now for a while , let's sit tight and enjoy the new&improved ZX2 setup

Just copy the files to the ZX2 unless you are talking about drm protected purchases from the iTunes store as they will only play within an Apple environment

^ That's a nice looking lod! Btw I forgot to mention before, that If anyone wants a Sony lod cable like mine below you should hit up Ted at headphonelounge .com, it will take 6-8 weeks, but you will be getting the best of the best walkman lod with neotech silver litz cable, cardas quad eutectic solder and rhodium plated 3.5mm plug w/ carbon fiber barrel, mine below is a 2" exposed wire length for a compact footprint. The best part of this top tier cable is the very reasonable price Ted sells for!

Disable the sound enhancement app as described earlier in this thread (however that only affects the stock player, not other player apps or streaming apps)

Yes you are right but it takes the useable volume down to where the 20 hour EU nag message, stop the music and turn the volume down does not happen. And it is loud enough to drive even my HE-500 acceptably (though naturally not to their best)

Me, I think I am more used to the UI of the stock player. Gonemad didn't improve the sound quality in my opinion.
Plus it doesn't play DSD files, so I gave up on it after the trial period.
