Spot on. Should be lossless at the minimum, IMO.

So you believe you could reliably hear the difference between a 320 AAC and a Flac file in a multiple, blind listening trial? I wonder. I know for everybody I have ever encountered when they actually are involved in a proper trial they can't hear the difference, but I freely admit I can't say this will always be the case.

Just want to chip in my 2 cents worth on a few accessories that I have bought for my ZX2.

The current one which I use, is this: http://www.ebay.com.sg/itm/full-Screen-protector-for-Sony-NW-ZX2-AFP-HD-clear-clean-Films-front2p-rear2p-/271819646585?hash=item3f49b6a679:g:klwAAOSweW5VFLQF
It covers most parts of the ZX2 with a layer of protector coating, and the main screen protector is well cut and quite nice to use, very clear protector. I have previously used a silicon gel cover but I realize it adds too much bulk and is a dust magnet, ditched it because I've felt the materials used for the ZX2 is pure solid and doubt any damage would come to it unless u were to drop it. Imo the healing shield does shield the ZX2 from the occasional scratches but before that I've used the player naked and it has come out fine, and pictures of others' ZX2 suggests as such too.

Wonder if anyone here has tried this player https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.co.radius.neplayer_ver2&hl=en
Price doesn't seem to attract mainstream audience though.

For any lyrics fan,

There is an app called musixmatch that seems to be working well with gonemad.

if you have an internet connection, any song played through gonemad, app will download the lyrics automatically and show it in a transparent pop up.

i dont know if any of these players has the same function built in or no, but i used this app before and it was quite nice.
