It's obvious to me that they're saving true balanced output as well as native DSD decoding (no more PCM conversion) for next model in line, that's fairly predictable IMHO.
 
Hopefully they'll finally replace OMAP4 with something better, then we could get past Android 4.2 since Android Wear does require Android 4.3 or above.

They did skip ZX3 while jumping up to ZX100 instead. Just a wild guess here so let's see if that were implying relatively significant changes under the hood.

Not likely, ZX moniker is used for their premium daps, they wouldn't just ditch their separate product lines and merge them, doesn't make sense.

im in the ZX2 club. a heads up, i got mine off UK ebay new for £680. there still is a handful left for anybody tempted. that price swayed me, pretty much next day courier also. pleasantly suprised its not the heavy brick i was expecting either, just a solid nice bit of kit!

I seriously think NW-ZX100 is not really a step ahead just like AK380 with better features. At this summitfi lvl, there is a dimishing return......
