SONY NW-ZX2

It would seem so to me. And they are working on even smaller circuits. amazing. And motors that can operate in the human body to do some medical procedures.

You are reminding me of Transcendence, the movie. There were micro robotics, and nano bots to help rebuilding, and tend to injures.....etc. I loved the movie, and Jhonny was excellent :D

Guys. Dones the trick from the ZX1 that we used to use still work? The one where we disable the sound enhancement and the Volume goes louder and it somewhat changed the sound. Anyone was from the ZX1 thread and is now here know if it works?

Yes. Just be careful...

anybody measured this? even if only the loudness?
because I would think it's ok if we're talking about the 10db margin(twice as loud) to avoid the EQ from clipping, and maybe another little something for some of the DSPs and dynamic normalizer on top of the EQ(so I would expect up to maybe 20db increase). but if it's really a lot more, then the sound quality probably takes a hit.
somebody can try to measure the difference plugging the zx2 into a computer and looking with any bad kind of VU meter, peak meter of sort?

Looks like another review that directly pitted the sonic qualities of the ZX2 against the AK240.

From the article:

Pitting the Sony NW-ZX2 against the twice-as-expensive Astell&Kern AK240 player was, for me, a sonic dead-heat. Hard as I tried, using the most revealing headphones and in-ear monitors, I could not detect any readily identifiable sonic differences between the two players when all the sonic shape-changing modifiers in both players were turned off.

He didn't research for his review enough. There is no native DSD and it's MELF resistors not capacitors

Ever since lusting for the AK240 after comparing it to my AK100II recently, now awaiting the imminent arrival of an ZX2 and seeing if it is really better than the AK's.

In what ways can ZX2 be connected to Chord Hugo?

Ordered these two glass protectors less than 2 days ago, just getting prepared when I get the ZX2 in June.
approximate USD 23 for both inclusive of shipping.

Could I ask which brand made these tempered glass screen protectors? Never seen them on the market before. Including a dust removal sticker sheet helps quite a bit with the installation.

Ray-Out makes them; they`re in the shops here in Japan.  BTW, maybe someone mentioned this already, but the ZX1 and ZX2 have the same screen dimensions so any ZX1 protectors will work.

Where I get them from there are two brands, Garmas and Benks, and a unbranded one, or the seller did not specify which probably only has either one of the listed one.

Mine is the Garmas, as the seller give a spare Hi Res sticker.

Appreciate the fast responses and suggestions. The Garmas looks like a great choice. I've been using a glass protector from Miyavix OverLay for the ZX1 and the kit is pretty basic compared to the Gramas.

The oleophobic coating is excellent and only issue with it is that it leaves a 0.5mm gap around the screen when applied.
