Are you saying that zx100 has the best sq compared to others?

I am saying that the ZX100 has the third best soundsignature for my taste. There is no bad or good SQ nowadays.
My favourite in sound was the QP1R, followed by Opus #1, but only slightly. Sony goes as winner for me in the end considering the whole package.
 
For the QP1R's price it is a bit ridiculous what you get in terms of usability.

Thats the problem of many software engineers inclkuding me, we oten fail to put us in te end-user shoes

I have the malaysian not Japanese so i cant say 100%, just thought i read somewhere that it doesnt. I could be wrong, reading comprehension was never my strong point.

I ave the Honkong version and it has englis too -- bloody office laptop with failing H-key

Did I see it correctly that the ZX100 does not have the podcast function anymore?
 
Furthermore some shortcomings of the A15/17 remain:
 
No playlists with songs from internal storage AND SD-card possible
No sorting by album artist (but that's a problem of every DAP)
WM-port still exists
 
However, I am not a big playlist guy anyhow (but like the SensMe-function from time to time).
But the podcast function will be very much missed

Only want a little more power than A17 but maybe I'd be better off just getting a Mojo or GO+ for my A17.

I'd go with the mojo anyways if you dont mind the bulk. No portable dap sounds better than the Mojo.

Cowon P1 sounds just like the Mojo. So similar I and a few other P1 owners got rid of the Mojo.
