50hours of aging on the wm1am2, progress update:

Soundstage background has become more quiet than before, no more strange hollowness in the soundstage.
Dynamics seems stronger than before
Treble has become even more silky smooth (when the amp is not under strain)

There’s still some vocal roughness and stringent sounding treble when the music gets loud.

Utada Hikaru’s Wait and See when listened at louder volumes does put quite a significant power strain on the Walkman’s amplifier and will reveal distortion/treble issues on the Walkman with incomplete capacitor aging

Where does one find the number of hours clocked on the Sony? Tried in vain to search for it on the online manual.

Inside Walkman music app, top right corner tap on the three dots > settings> scroll to bottom of page.

It only tracks your usage within Walkman music app, not for other streaming or other music apps

I think there has been logistics disruptions. Singapore and Malaysia only received our pre-orders last week. So, it may take some time. Not so sure about HK?

an 18 month old Samsung/Sony flagship phone has Wifi6... it's not only streaming, you can transfer files faster as well.

Anybody in EU or UK ordered one from Amazon and still showing delivery still as per pre-order?

Mines still showing delivery for Wednesday even though both A & Z showed out of stock immediately on launch day (Friday) and read German ones delayed until May that one thread member mentioned.

I keep waiting for the cancellation or delay email seeing as I only pre-order on the 12th anyway!
