Thanks for the photo.  I love it's size.  It's a conversation starter for sure!  Did I mentioned I WANT ONE NOW?!

Any news, info, pics or whatever?

I only found this pic that hasn't been shown around here yet and reveals yet again it's size. I must say though despite the size it also looks somehow so much better compared to the previous XB headphones. I thought XB500/700 would look silly if you wear them in public but with these it looks much more badass instead (hopefully it can convert a few Beats drones out there). I doubt people will have trouble fitting their ears inside with these, perhaps you could fit 2 ears inside even. xD

^ I feel jealous of this man, how I wish I could try them out too. ^^

Damn, I just got the XB700's and love 'em to death so I'm totally on board.

It just sucks because I have a small head, so the 700's already look kind of ridiculous on me...so I can only imagine the ridicule I'll be getting from family and friends once I buy these.

Anyone know if the $350.00 MSRP Japanese price tag will be the same for US?

Hope not, I'm poor.

Is there a review with these vs the xb 700s

just scooped these up in tokyo yesterday.

very very preliminary impressions:

cleaner than the 700's in the lows, mids, and highs. seem to be underpowered on mobile devices and needing of a decent amp (much more so than the 700s). Will not truly be able to get a good audition until I bring them back home to the US next week. will keep you posted.

and yes, as you know...ENORMOUS

You're not able to try and give a better idea about the bass quantity and type (very deep/soft or punchy/tight or balanced, both deep & punchy and more/less in quantity etc?) compared to XB700 at this point comparing with whatever device you got available (I do expect XB1000 prolly needs some amping to sound optimal but some feedback is better than nothing :p) Less than XB700 like according to a CES attendant?

Sorry waiting until next week will seem like a year when waiting for something that is that interesting, I wish you hadn't replied until next week. xD

So if all I use to listen to music is my iPhone 4, would it be worth my money getting these if they are underpowered through mobile devices?

I have the XB500's, and love them, and these are probable aesthetically and technically the most attractive phones I've ever seen.

 Anybody's input would be appreciated.
