Hi,
Im a V6 owner, a very happy one at that, until yesterday...
While watching tv, the audio seemed to drop, but not completely. Im hearing music fine, but voices are very low, inaudible basically.
Im running through a 10m m/f extension lead, and i get the same problem directly into the tv.
I know the headphone speakers arent faulty as if i unplug the jack, and push it in halfway with a slight angle, theres a sweet spot where it works fine, theres absolutely no visual indication to be able to tell what the problem is, but i was hoping for some advice from the more knowledgeable folks here. What can i do about this?
Im in the UK, so im screwed in that respect, they were bought almost 23mo ago and while entitled to a resolution, it'd be like getting blood from a stone.
What are the chances of this being a fault within the jack, and being able to rewire it to a satisfactory standard? Its not something i'd know how to do myself, so a basic guide would be needed, but im comfortable with a soldering iron and it seems like ive got nothing to lose really.
I could really do with some advice, is it basically going to be a case of googling a rewiring diagram, or is it more complex?
Thanks in advance,
Paul
