Thanks

I already did that but even when many results are seen, they are all closed, so I ask here. In any case I will continue to review the classifieds
You could aso try amazon or eBay. Specially now, that we expect Black Friday/CyberMonday

I got mine in 2019 from Accessory Jack

Yes, sorry. It's not clear from the initial search results that most or all of the Z1Rs were already sold. Good luck!

What about something cheaper like the Fiio M11?
I have both thr dx300 (not max) and fiio m11. Z1r sounds great wirh both. I use dx300 at home and m11 on the go. I even used it at thr gym yesterday, though not sure I will make a habit of that. M11 and Z1r sound great together, but the dx300 certainly sounds better. I have no theirs the new m11 plus. I have a 2 or 3 year old standard m11 with 4493 dac. Using 4.4 on both. Dx300 Def has more detail retrieval and is faster, but it's heavier and bigger. It has more juice too and runs my Sundaras much better than the m11. I traded my Mest mkii for an MDR z1r, and am curious how the dz300 runs those. It didn't run thr he 6se very well. Those need a ton of power.

No problem, I thank you anyway
I'm going to keep looking, but I'm not sure about looking elsewhere because you don't really know who you're dealing with and the truth is, because of the budget, I'm interested in a used Z1R but in good condition, not a new one.
Also, since I'm new to the forum, I still can't post in the classifieds.

You're almost there: Five more posts and you can post a "Want to Buy" in the Classifieds.:relaxed: Or buy, of course. :)

Thank you in advance

No idea, I’ve only tried them with Sony NW-1Z dap and the Sony TA dac/amp which both are 5 years old but to me excelent. Well and the iBasso DC04 dongle which also works well. They do scake well with more power

Yes.

I've had the Z1R since February this year, and I'm still getting many of those fall-back-in-the-chair-OMG moments listening to them. It's only recently that the Empyrean has stolen my attention a bit, but the Z1R can easily be end-game.

I use mine mostly at home with either the Asgard3 and more recently Bifrost2/Jot2, which gets them shaking my eardrums nicely. I know a lot of folks use various high-end DAPs with Z1R, but for me I'd rather use the same desktop gear for the Z1R as I do for other headphones. Z1R isn't my 'out-and-about' IEM, but when I do listen with my relatively humble A&K SR25 or even the cheap-arse iPhone dongle-DAC, it still sounds pretty damn great.

Not that guy, but I have owned a Z1R for abit, used quite few daps with them, (A&K SR15, SR25, Fiio M11 Pro, ibasso dx160, cayin n6ii E02 and so on)

I recently demoed the DX300, and wow, this thing has to be the best DAP I have ever used with the Z1R, it made the Z1R sound so much more lively

Comparing it with the n6ii with the E02 module (which itself, I think is better than all of the DAPs I have listed), the DX300 made the bass alot more pleasant to listen to, not muddy at all. I somewhat agree with what nc8000 said, the Z1R scales with power, but in my opinion, it didn't sound as good on my Flux FA-10 (which I primarily use for my HE1000 v2) compared to the dx300 for some reason

now I am kinda thinking about getting a dx300 for a more in-depth comparison:wink:
