Band of Gypsies - Machine gun
A crappy 128 kb/ps MP3 sounds already great with my D5000s

Ratatat in general, but the extended play, Loud Pipes, was particularly good and the album LP3 was absolutely mind-blowing. There's just something about their style that brings out the best in my headphones.

Paul Dateh - Paul Dateh sounded pretty awesome too. His simple composition and attention to detail is probably why it sounds so good.

Edit: Gonna have to add the album, Daniel Davis - Play for me.

Pink Floyd - Pulse

Absolutely amazing. Makes you feel like you're right there in front of the stage, while tens of thousands of fans scream behind you

Got LP4 yet? It's almost as good as LP3, falls a little short, but still a good listen nontheless.

Facade of Reality and Sensorium by EPICA, 2ch tracks from the 2 Meter Sessions DVD

Metropolis by Dream Theater from "Images and Words"

Everything from Best Audiophile Voices III

Quicksand and In For The Kill by La Roux

The Boy Who Stole The Blues by Mighty Mo Rogers

BTW, tracks that make my headphones cry for more than an unamped iPod:

Kingdom of Heaven by Epica from "Design Your Universe"

Metropolis by Dream Theater from "Images and Words"

For one, the iPod loses track of some drum hits when the really complex and fast percussion.

I agree with whoever said Alison Krauss Live. Just played that, and (if you skipped the tracks where she doesn't sing) it is just marvelous.

Today, it's both All Is Full Of Love by Björk and Spongle Falls by Shpongle. Both sound excellent today on my AD900. Haven't listened to my A900Ti for a couple of days. It's ability to completely suck me into the music makes me too detached from the real world, sometimes.

Also, it's a bad, bad headphone when I want to get some work done. It just doesn't allow me.
