Hallucinogen in dub by OTT
Fat of the Land - The Prodigy (I was amazed at how well mixed this is considering the genre)
Yoshinori Sunahara - Take off and Landing
Haibane Renmei - Seinaru Shoukei (image album)
Tank! (TV stretch) from Cowboy Bebop OST - Yoko Kanno - Those horns!
Junigenmukyoku (From 12 Kingdoms soundtrack) - Kunihiko Ryo
Bangarang - Skrillex (Actually not a bad mix apart from the crappy 'bonus' track)
The Lord of the Rings OST's are also a hot contender for purely awesome soundtracks
Finished Symphony - Hybrid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_oeslAqeTEc

Hey for those that haven't heard Whitney Houston was found dead yesterday at age 48. Love her or not the woman could flat out sing!! I certainly remember dancing a few slow songs to a Whitney song with my squeeze back in the early 80's. So if you have any interest play one of her tunes today to remember...

thanks

"When You Believe" by Whitney and Mariah
A great duet between two great vocalists.

Rest in peace, Whitney.

I am sorting through my record collection and ran across a real gem.

The Plastic Ono Band - Live Peace In Toronto 1969
Clapton is still playing a Les Paul and kills
Side two is a two song nightmarish avant-garde freakout via Yoko.
She makes my headphones go WOOOOOOOW What!

For live recording Clapton Unplugged may be the best ever, but recently I ran across one the is very good. Maxwell Unplugged. Very well mastered. The horns and violin are incredibly detailed and present. His vocal are soulful and crystal clear...it's a very nice listen!!
