I don't know about 'wow' but I just listened to The Train And The River by the Jimmy Guiffre Trio on my Senns HD598, it was the first track on the album that made me stop my work, recline and enjoy the music. I don't have many headphones to compare it with, but it sounded wonderful to me. I was immersed for the 5 minutes or so.

Pink Floyd's The Wall sounds absolutely amazing on my SRH-840's. Particularly the breath sound at the very beginning of Mother; it is one of those sounds that is so perfectly rendered, it makes you jump the first time you hear it.
 
Honestly, the only thing that I don't like about my 840's is that they have made it hard for me to appreciate techno and dubstep due to the wide gap in actual quality between electronic music and the use of real instruments.
