I have been cable rolling my way slowly with the Tremolo following the very long burn in which I think it's still not done at about 80 hours. The stock silver sounded great, kinda annoyed I had to make a chin slider for it.

Wanted to try a full copper cable to see if there would be any difference, which to my ears there was. The EA Ares II 8w is a big fat copper cable that I've been using with Tremolo for several days and I'm absolutely loving the additional bass weight, warmth and stage this cable brings. IMHO, it's an at-home or in the office cable due to its heft, but the sound is banging and I can't believe this can all be done by a single driver. Magic.

Listening thru a P6Pro may also be helping my situation

I almost never used it since my purchase
was overshadowed by oxidation issue of
stock silver cable (I let it go: sold )...

I'm testing both the Ares and Cadmus 8w - love EA cables!

Well, best is relative. I think it depends on what iems you're looking to pair then with at the outset.

So far, I've only tested both on a single DD ciem, Tremolo. For this IEM, I like the Cadmus more. It's bass impact is less than than Ares, tho not bass light at all! It's slightly brighter which Tremolo seems to like.

Looking forward to trying this out on my Indigos.

iBasso DC04 Pro really works well w the Studio 4 bringing out the full potential of this iem to showcase it's bass prowess. And what a wonderful bass you get with them - undeniably excellent for a BA implementation. It's just an extremely accurate textured bass here, no way around it. I would like to know how Softears did this with BA drivers. This is the next step in terms of what is possible it seems. This song will put your iems to the test re bass. All types here:

Well, it is tonally closer to the M8. But with better clarity, separation and black background.

IE 900 looks exactly the same as IE 600,

Update and end of cable rolling Tremolo for now...

The Penon Leo Plus ($249) has lit the drivers on fire!!! Finally very happy with the Tremolo sound!!!

Yes, Cadmus is now on my Indigo and sounding amazing. Leo Plus is such a great cable, there's magic inside.
