just receiving an email from them is a gesture that they are working on the product and they here ,
so don't panic .

i think some members are complaining out of nothing ,,

i am a backer since March/2017 and i received update email since they past the dead line at :And what if you do not even receive the e-mail? I am a backer, but I never received even this e-mail. Indeed, since becoming a backer in September of 2017, and completing all related payments, and customer surveys in October 2017, I have received only one update via e-mail, the one which came out in November 2017, about "hardware," "firmware," and "exchange website." To be fair, James Smyth usually responds very quickly when I send him an email to inquire or gripe about something, and I am sure he will forward this recently circulated e-mail to me if I were to write to ask (which I am not going to do), but is it not very clear that their mailing list does not even include all backers? And isn't that a cause for concern?
It seems clear that, as compared to the communication practices of other similar--and much less expensive--kickstarter projects (Such as the Yarra, and Audeze Mobius projects) the operation of the Smyths leave a lot to be desired (and that is putting it very mildly, and generously). If there appears to be too much griping or panicking on this site at times, one has to lay the blame squarely at the feet of the Smyths. There is a lot they can do (at very little expense, or costs to themselves) in the area of timely communications to assuage the anxieties of their buyers when unavoidable delays occur, but they are doing little to nothing about that, and that is just too bad.
I have vowed never to become a habitual whiner on head-fi, especially, about things I cannot change, but your own complaint, that "some members are complaining out of nothing" has prompted me to make an exception this time, because it sounded like a textbook example of "blaming the victim." I think the Smyths themselves deserve some of the blame, and that ought to be acknowledged.
I don't disagree with you but I want to try to shed some light on the missing e-mails:And what if you do not even receive the e-mail? I am a backer, but I never received even this e-mail. I feel a bit guilty now, I hope you don't have any regrets.Okay guys, I'm sold on the unit. I just pulled the trigger (paid the "pre-sale deposit", and it is all your fault
But I believe this is what you were looking for: https://www.kickstarter.com/project...real-3d-audio-headphone-processor/description
This wasn't "unclear" in the slightest, although it was naive, or overly hubristic.
