The dummy FAQ is still there...
and that's because I thought at first that all the other photos (except Stephen of course) were also Wordpress Dummies, but then I saw that they were alle taken in front of the same yellowish background wall, so I think those are the real team members. Nameless.

The best quote from their website is about James

“Most will know James through his constant stream of emails and progress updates about the Realiser A16. ”

ROFLCOPTER

Believe that and you’ll believe anything....

Anyway at least there’s a website so something is happening- I hope everyone has a great Christmas and I hope no one stresses too much over the Christmas break.

2019's a given.

Did you mean to type 2020?

Which comes first:
Brexit or Realiser A16...?

That is my fear. Brexit comes and I will have to pay taxes and customs for the A16.

I wuz attempting to be optimistic with the 2019 date........

New update:

“December 2018 Update

Just a very short update. The launch version of the user interface has now been completed and we’re in the process of submitting the Realiser A16 for Dolby Atmos certification. Our self-certification results looked fine, and Dolby are now reviewing them. Once they’re happy with them they’ll allocate us a ‘test’ slot, but this is unlikely to happen until the New Year.”

Kind regards

That’s major progress on two fronts. However, I don’t understand what a “test slot” is or what it’s significance might be. Also, what does completion of the launch interface mean in regards to progress towards the eventual completion of the launch firmware?

Hopefully, team member James and/or, perhaps, Lorr Kramer will have a presence on HeadFi at some point in 2019.
