Probably no one want to buy them until there's a serious review.
Can someone post real impressions already? This is stupid how little attention they're getting

here is a review!

Front Row Electronics (Authorized dealer) has put up their Amazon listing for both the 1440 and 1840.
The 1840 is $700.
I'm interested, though I want comparisons with the others high ends.
VERY interesting review! (I'm surprised we actually have a legitimate review now.)
From that review, it seems that the SRH1840 is to the Hifiman HE500 as the Sennheiser HD800 is to the Audeze LCD-2, perhaps. In other words, more emphasis on treble and detail but overall similar levels of technical capability.

If by technical ability you mean resolution, soundstage, and imaging, then I don't see how the LCD-2 and HD 800 are on the same level.
I'm pretty sure there are people on head-fi who claim the LCD2 is as good as the HD800, although I'm certainly not one of them. I have no solid opinion either way though because I've only heard the LCD2 for 10 minutes and definitely didn't get a chance to A/B it. Anyway.
I've had a Shure SRH1840 prototype here since this past spring, and received a production version of it last week. It is a very impressive headphone, and I'll say more about it later. (It's the middle of the night here right now.) ---- Judes post ofc.
