I have a pair up for sale in the FS section if your looking for a good deal
Huh? I thought this is one of the more balanced phones I ever listened to. Brightness is the price for details.
"bassless?" Baseless!
add on: torn between the HD650 and SRH1840 for an upgrade.

Forget about the 840: treble is too harsh if not amped properly. The 940 sounds amazing off iPhone, even better when amped.

Sorry, well during that time I came fresh from a HD202 which were quite bassheavy. Now using the HD558 and having a better audio sense I actually like the bass on them, tight, solid and neutral.
Also you could buy a Beyer DT770 headband to replace the one on the SRH940, did it for my friend and he is happy now having it broken twice before.

Can you post a picture of the SRH940 with the Beyer headband please?
For your viewing pleasure~
(and if you noticed i used lego for the axle)
Hi.
I just ordered Shure SRH 940. But the price in this store is very low (230$). I'm afraid it can be fake. Can u tell me, how can i recognize a fake in this headphone? Where to look?
Thank u and sorry for bad English.
