Black filters? Not much.
sorry to ask few questions maybe it has been asked many times before
so i modded the blue filter and its sounds better as people said here, it took 5 seconds pretty easy
1- now i was wondering modding the black filter what effect it has?
2-also another question what other than comply and westone tip are out there to try what is the best tips other than those
3-and from where can i order the spinfits
4- good cable that adds more warmth to mids and tightens bass
2,3,4.....Search Ebay and all will be revealed.
I really should mod the blues, I just haven't had the guts to. One of these days I'll be brave...
bravooooooooo another expected head-fier answer
Do the iPhone remote/mic alternatives for the 846 function fully (play, pause, skip, volume)?
Also, when i briefly had these, i had a lot of trouble removing the ear tips. Was this common with some of you? I tried pulling and twisting, but didn't do it with fear that i would damage the product.

The foamies are indeed hard to remove, that's a common "issue" with Shure iems. Some suggest putting the iems into the fridge for 10 to 20 minutes, but I have always managed to disattach them without that method, but it indeed requires quite a lot of pressure whilst twisting and pulling like mad. Yet, no harm was done to my SE425 and SE846 at all, the nozzles are darn sturdy. The silicone tips however are pretty easy to swap (and I am no foamie guy either, so I use silicone tips with all of my iems).
The blue Logitech UE 900 cable is pretty good and imo the best cable out there (flexibility etc.), next to the Ultimate Ears Custom cable (which will obviously not fit).
