Kann is not available in my country, besides I think Se846 doesn't need that kind of power, does it?get ak kann

mojo is amazing as wellMojo betters top AK daps to my ears with 846
I'd try the QP1R as well. I haven't updated my QP1R review yet with a KANN review because the transitioned Head-Fi will only accept 25 pictures per post, meaning those that have posts and reviews that have more than 25 pictures, can't update their posts or reviews either.Astell & Kern AK300 or Chord Mojo?

Thank you all guys. unfortunatelly my only two options here are [Galaxy S6+Mojo] or [AK300] and mojo is 2/3 of AK300's price hereI'd try the QP1R as well. I'll say that I enjoy the sound of the AK320 more than the KANN (I also wouldn't consider the AK300 for serious/audiophile listening), as the sound of the KANN is pretty lean with not a lot of definition in the lower mid to bass areas of the sound spectrum.
I would get the Mojo first, then look for a dedicated DAP down the line.Thank you all guys. unfortunatelly my only two options here are [Galaxy S6+Mojo] or [AK300] and mojo is 2/3 of AK300's price here
Have you tried different source? Also try different test tones available from youtube, to further eliminate other variables.I've recently noticed the right earphone has slightly less volume in some frequencies like the vocals. I've swapped to the longer cable, different eartips and white filters but I still hear the difference between the two sides. Is such thing possible?

It is less prominent with Mojo but definitely audibleHave you tried different source? Also try different test tones available from youtube, to further eliminate other variables.
Fiio X5/Chord Hugo and iBasso DX90/Chord Mojo. Both great but one just a bit airier than the other. Modded blue 846 filter and Westone Star tips just having edge over Spintips.
I am using the Questyle QP1R with the improved click wheel. I LOVE IT! My favorite combo with this player are my Shure SRH1540 full sized headphones with Moon Audio Silver Dragon cables, but the SE846s sound great too. SRH1540s in high gain, SE846 in low gain.

Also try gently cleaning the MMXC connection. Check the female connection inside the earphones for breakage. When I cleaned mine, the pointy little alcohol infused cotton swab came out black.
