They work perfectly and fit perfectly. I've never had a more comfortable IEM experience.

My SM3 is due in tomorrow...

I'll give as much of this coming weekend to their comparison and post as soon as possible.

Cool...thanks Shane.

From what I remember, both are great IEMs, but the mids and solid construction of the SE535s put them just over the top for me.

I just bought the SE535 yesterday from Earphone Solutions with their 4th of July discount.
Type " IND18 " into the coupon code area in the checkout area and see if it applies the 18% discount to your purchase.

Good luck

I was looking to purchase a pair online, any suggestions on where I can get them for the best price ? Saw that the earphone solutions promo is gone...

I'm interested to hear your thoughts as well.  But it's not a zero sum game.  Hopefully both are terrific.

Ah yes, me too... as I'm sure they both are. However one better be a clear 'winner', or I'm in trouble!

I also should have both (already have the SM3, but the SE535 is coming) next week. I think Shane and I will compare notes.

I'm listening to them right now (Blue Oyster Cult) and I am still a very happy camper. The best mids and the improved treble performance has made them the best universal IEM I've ever heard.

LOL.... Thanks @ MacedonianHero. Well, curiosity got the best of me, and I on top of that I got a great deal (way under $400 new and sealed). I didn't hate the SE530s, but I didn't get that "wow factor" from them either. I'm hoping the second time will be the charm. I am also curious how it will stack up against the SM3. If one clearly blows out the other, then one must go. If they're close but different, then both will stay.
