Sennheiser HD800S and as DAC/Amp the Phonitor 3 DAC. It's the latest version with the AK 4493 SEQ chip.
Recently I got new speakers as well: Strauss SE-NF-3. Poweramp is the SPL Performer S800. I know it's a forum focused on headphones. But listening to the SE-NF3 is a bit like immersing yourself in the music, kind of a headphone feeling highly addicting.
I'm not very good at describing what I hear but I sense a more open soundstage compared to the WiiM. Better separation and it sounds cleaner.
Both have very good stabile apps.
I have owned a Limetree Bridge a while back, the first version. I then only used it in my speaker system. I upgraded that one with an linear power supply, A Keces P3.
So will have to look for an linear power supply for this one as well as it did wonders to it.
I am curious too and will wait for the answer from the other headfier.
In my case, I am using an old IPad mini in my setup 2, purely as a ‘now playing’ display. I debated getting an Eversolo but mainly for the display. I don’t need a streamer in this location because the DAC is hooked up to the Roon Nucleus with a USB cable. In the end I decided on this solution. Maybe not as cool looking as the Eversolo, but the screen is actually much larger, and it serves me well.
What's that tablet with roon? It's also connected to something besides Cayin? I'm thinking about something similar for the desktop setup but have no idea how to do it. Could you tell what are all pieces of this set up (including cables), I would be very grateful
Shure thing ! Setup is straight Forward and all my cables are consumer or Studio Quality :
Laptop (closet Right Side of the Tablet )with Upgraded Storage as Rooncore - Ares 2 (closet left Side of the Tablet ) Connected Via USB direct to the core with an Amazon Standard USB Cable.
The Tablet is a cheap Samsung A7 Lite with a Debloated Android to make IT a bit snappier then installed a tilt controll App that forces roon to tilt in landscape Mode and a App called deskdock to controll the Tablet with Mouse and Keyboard seamless with my pc. If there are more questions im Happy to anwswer.

What is the streamer connected to? Are you using the streamer's internal DAC, or digital output to an external DAC?
I am trying to better understand whether the streamer piece was the reason for the improvement, or a different DAC between the 2 streamers could account for the improved sound...
I've been absent from Head-Fi for a bit, but when I want to catchup, this is usually the thread that starts my journey. Great to see the new gear on display!
On my head-fi table, my cheap solid state amp died (and good riddance, as it sounded bad), so I ordered a Bryston BHA-1. Man, I wish I had done this 10 years ago. Listening now with Dan Clark ETHER 'phones and for me it's end game. Anyway, great to be back.

It is connected to an Eversolo DAC-Z8 through coaxial. The Bridge II does not have a dac of its own but there is a Limetree Network II which is a similar device with an inbuilt dac as well.
