I've never seen you use the McChanson amp, is there a problem with it?
I am 'rebasing' tubes for it (6Y6, 6Y6G, etc). The tubes are quite, quite old and I am regluing bases to tube glass ... 🤷🏻‍♂️

Just a quick question for those of You with ZMF headphones.
I maybe will be able to borrow headphones from a store. It will be just one pair so i would like to ask You - which one i should borrow ;
Bokeh
Aeolus
Auteur Classic
Atticus

I would prefer the closed one but if the open is better than open it is.
About the size of the pads opening - are they bigger than the Denon AH D9200 ? I need something bigger than the Denon pads.

Thanks in advance

if you are fan of liquid mids with slightly subdued upper treble then Auteur Classic else Bokeh for closed back.

Auteur Classic 100%, they have the largest ear opening with the Auteur pads and definitely more than the Denon. The ZMF Auteur is much more exciting and full sound than the Denon. Aeolus is a slight downgrade in insightfulness from the Auteur, but can be more relaxing. Haven't heard the other two.
