Current State - Just got off work, and first thing I did when I got home is fire up my Cayin, and put out some tubes.
The life of a tube roller. . .there is often (always ) another quad or two on deck. Sometimes I want vanilla, sometimes chocolate, and then sometimes strawberry. Got to love having options.

Great to see tubes slowly accumulating back up on that shelf !!

I will for sure! Only got about 30s on it before I had to head out but it seems to have the same TD sound I absalutely adored from my dual so it looks promising!
As for the rack, I do need to figure something out tbh. This is a little precarious as is tbh

Anything changed in terms of how you hear them, your gear used with them, or with them themselves?Glad to have the HEKse again…

Sold my first pair to finance Susvara and now this is my third pair. Sound is beautiful, almost Stax like in it’s ethereal quality. The main advantage of the HEKse is better dynamics and punch especially with the music I listen to which is mainly singer/songwriter and rock.Anything changed in terms of how you hear them, your gear used with them, or with them themselves?
With the Lampizator there’s no harsh or brightness, it all sounds organic and coherent. It’s my favourite headphone. Can’t say whether there were silent revisions or not…the pads feel more plush and comfy.

And sooo easily drivable, and good sounding out of anything.
And some good pricing going on with hifiman at the moment, including open boxes and b-stocks, last time i checked their website.
Did you get a chance to compare it with the he1000 stealth?
are you still getting good use of the utopias, or are they just being rested at the moment with the hekse back in?
