I always use V200 to conveniently, directly compare headphones. If the two headphones in comparison are quite different in sensitivity, it gets a little tricky … .The V200 is currently on "test bench" duty, as I'm comparing newly acquired IEM's. A bit overkill, but very convenient.
Luckily the two IEM'S are not far from each other in sensitivity, but you are right, correct volume isn't quite as convenient if the sensitivity is significantly different.I always use V200 to conveniently, directly compare headphones.
