Hello there!
The sound signatures are quite different, I would say the Dianas have better bass in almost every aspect (impact, detail, loudness, etc.), I use the Lokius (my EQ) to add midrange to my preference, but I find myself moving each of those knobs to accommodate the recording - not the headphone.
The Dianas are the only headphones in which I didn't immediately revert to my senns - something I can not say bout any of the other headphones in my signature...
The Sennheisers are still better for certain recordings, usually dominated by acoustic guitar, vocal harmonies, etc (think America, some Eagles, etc.)
As a daily driver, the Dianas handle almost every genre I throw at them with such engaging sound - I barely think about the senns - even with them staring at me

Certainly the best planar I own. Side note, they do seem to require more power than the HD800S; with the Lyr I am nearly at 3:00 on the knob for quieter recordings.
