Loving my new stand. Special wood grain, cable holder spikes and all of it pretty much for third of the price of ZMF's Salir.

Jeah you are right. But when i look at other pics it really isn't that much
Every single person here, no matter how elaborate, expensive, and amazing their system might be, has looked at someone else's pictures and thought, "Jeez. Compared to that, my stuff is garbage."

Both the stand and the headphone are beautiful, but in very different ways. the stand is organic, flowing, multi-colored and made of pretty wood; the headphone is modern, with a gorgeous frame, ingenious earpad fixation system, and handsome screens.

In a matter of days I will be able to take pictures with the Caldera too. And hopefully with ZMF's new amplifier.

Mate, we all start small, and some people stay small, or expand when they are able to.
Whatever best suits you, your tastes, budgets and personal enjoyment will always be superior to anyone else's setup, because you tailored an experience for one: YOURSELF.

That really is all that matters.

For a brief context, I still use my aging, discontinued, fifteen years in operation NuForce Icon 1st gen integrated amp (amp only), connected to my PS5 and Philips Hue Sync box.
My speakers are also fifteen years old and discontinued, yet just as gorgeous sonically and aesthetically since the day I got them: JohnBlue AudioArt JB3 speakers.

I have had a long journey in headphones, yet most have been on the more affordable to mid-priced side, with some exceptions. My motto is to invest high into a product when I comfortably can, for extremely long-term use.
Case-in-point, bought my first digital audio player circa 2016; Onkyo DP-X1.
I finally upgraded at the start of this year, 2023, from the Onkyo DP-X1 to the mighty FiiO M17 digital desktop player (humorously considered a DAP, despite it's massive girth and weight 🤣).
That's a huge difference in cost and massive jump in quality plus features, but that's how long I was ok with my DP-X1, whilst keeping an eye to the future and my finances; once I knew I was pushing the limits of my older DAP (aging software, poor battery life retention, huge changes in listening lifestyle and headphones), I made decisions within what I could afford and went for specific goal to fully upgrade my entire setup using the M17 as the foundation.
Indeed, before I traded out three of my cans towards this DAP (and after getting the hybrid wireless/wired headphone, T+A Solitaire T, a few months before in Dec 2022), I used my AKG K 712 Pro and Focal Elear for many years (less so the Audeze EL8 Ti); aside from some IEM's, I consistently enjoyed my cans and learned of their sonic traits to various pieces of music. Though the K 712, Elear, and EL8 Ti are gone, I'll never forget the enjoyment I had with them.
Only my Meze 99 Classics remain from my old collection, and will be a part of it for the rest of my life too.

To get to the point, you don't need to rush this hobby whatsoever, nor get pulled into FOMO, nor get influenced away from what you enjoy.
Take your time, enjoy and spend time with what you have, learn the hobby, your tastes in both music and music reproduction, and create your own emotional connection to your gear and music.
Make your experience piece unique, for yourself.

Enjoy the music, don't sweat on how you do so, and champion your gear as much as you please!

Edit: fixed many errors, as I was speedtyping on my smartphone ha ha! 😂

Trust me, I've seen plenty of systems here and elsewhere and said WOW! I'd love to have that! But for now I have what I have and it's still functional and enjoyable.

I bought my Speakers, DAC and headphones between 2014 and 2016 and they still perform well enough for me. My CD player is 19 years old, and it still plays my audiophile CDs without issue. I just spent $470 bucks to refurbish my 9-year-old Sennheiser HD700 headphones cause they still sound good enough to keep.

Sure, my setup isn't exotic or shiny nickel new, but I'm still proud of it as it still performs well enough. That allows me to save the money to get what I want when ready.

Sure, those photos of other systems can bring on envy at times, but we all had to start somewhere, so... :relaxed:

My two cents.

I have a modest system too, but I too am quite happy with it and it kicks butt!
Kicking butt requires only: a leg, a foot, an arse. Simplicity indeed! 😈🤣

tight budget station (no component costing more than 300 eur), a set that has been formed these last three years, the latest addition a DT-880 of 600 Ohms.

Can't wait to hear your impression, always interesting to "see" things from other perspective (other person). New ZMF Amplifier, mean JDS Labs?

Btw, where you got the headphone stand? Looks great with Elite. What's the height of the stand?
