Line out setting is there for analog output, please do not use it with digital output.@Shanling - I use my Q1 as a digital transport. However when I use LO, the volume is very low even though it says it will go to max volume. To get normal volume I have to turn off LO and manually set the volume to 100. Can you fix this?

I use line out direct to my Schiit Vali 2 in order to power some of my full-sized headphones. The result is spectacular success!@Shanling - I use my Q1 as a digital transport. this is U+0027 Apostrophe: aka "apostrophe-quote" but it is NOT the preferred apostrophe. BUT it is the apostrophe that I get when I type and is very frequently used (I think it all depends on key mappings that most of us don't really think about).07 - Jaques Mal Chance (Il n'a pas de chance).flac
04 - Don’t Know How.flac
YES! Thanks for taking the time to look into this, and thanks @fish1050 for bringing it up. I created this account JUST to tell you that it is something worth looking into. It may be a good idea to provide a different font. In my case, it all depends on the glyph.
In my collection, depending on the source of the tag, I have encountered 2 different apostrophes:

Most of us will not see the difference on our computers unless we are using a monospace font.
For example:
07 - Jaques Mal Chance (Il n'a pas de chance).flac
and
04 - Don’t Know How.flac
Don't look very different but...
07 - Jaques Mal Chance (Il n'a pas de chance).flac 04 - Don’t Know How.flac
...they aren't using the same character.
We can recreate the spacing issue on a PC by using a CJK font:
This is my only minor annoyance with the device, and since it is in my pocket or on a shelf, I hardly notice now. If I could have one feature added it would be a more direct way to play a random album, or just shuffle the entire collection. I usually listen to albums, but sometimes I just cannot be bothered to choose.
There will be no change to apostrophe display.MediaMonkey is still using libFlac 1.2.1 at least in the free version and thus it uses the U+0027 apostrophe. So I guess you can be proactive and edit all of your tracks metadata with apostrophes in MediaMonkey or wait to see if Shanling actually changes the glyph in the next update. I am hoping we will see the promised Q1 firmware update in May so I may wait for an eta on the update and hopefully @Shanling will confirm if this apostrophe change will be included.

Nah, I won't be doing that. I use beets to tag my files using the MusicBrainz database. It would take ages to go through all the files anyway. Might be quicker to decompile the firmware and change the font to a non-CJK font.MediaMonkey is still using libFlac 1.2.1 at least in the free version and thus it uses the U+0027 apostrophe. Right then. So, I suppose I don' t need this account. I retract my gratitude. English speakers use apostrophes quite a bit, and it shouldn' t be our job to retag our files. Even a €50 Sandisk Sansa handles apostrophes/spacing correctly. Other languages, like French, require more apostrophes. There will be no change to apostrophe display.
