Gold wheel is pretty standard for limited editions of Shanling players. I think M2s was first one to offer such.

Did some research and it seems to have a lot more power, very close to M6 Pro. I assume the 2021 version will replace both models.

Correct, M6 (21) output power is pretty much on the same level as M6 Pro.

MQA will be at 8x resampling on M6 (21). M3X can achieve 16x because its DAC was designed for MQA and can work with it more efficiently.

Very different sound tuning. Whatever you might think or measurements shows, there are differences between AKM and ESS.

Thanks. The competition has 16x with same DAC but probably it has to do with their FPGA programming. Anyway, your 8x implementation seems to be good according to some users.

yes in fact I agree with you. I think that since the Dac is different, the sound is also different. Now I don't know in what terms it sounds different ... the ESS dac and the AKM dac.

Really curious to know how the new version compares with the R6 2020 since both are using the same DACs but surely with different implementation. The Hiby is more future proof with Android 9 and a better SoC.

Is there any news on when the "Resume playback" bug is going to be fixed? It turned out to be quite annoying.

Is there going to be a fix for the issue? It really disturbes me that i can't leave exact song for the next morning like i did not only with Shanling player but with all devices i ever used. That's important matter for me and it's not a bid problem for a specialist to fix.

There is some fix for resume function coming in new firmware update.
