Thought I had last night - are the IE 300 or TW4 in the ballpark of the sound without the technicalities?Looking to purchase a pair of these - I missed the bass and presentation vs. the more traditional IE 600. Question is - is there anything in 2024 worth looking at in that price range that can amplify that 'big room' sound?

So I just received fakes from Amazon, specifically from the seller BrandsWalk. I'm pissed.
These are fake for the following reasons:

But, what about the nozzle screen is a giveaway? I don't see "3 pinholes" on my pair's nozzle, either (Headphones.com).
For the case, are you opening with the Sennheiser logo facing up, or the model/serial number plate?

Here you can clearly see the 3 pinholes in the nozzle screen. Fake ones don't have them or have a solid circle in the middle.
For the case I was opening with the Sennheiser logo facing up. I am unfortunate to also have a pair of fake IE 600 and its case also opens right to left with the Sennheiser logo facing up.

Came home from vacation today and saw my warranty replacement came in. One thing I notice is the eartip no longer collapses. Not sure if they were redesigned. Use to be a big complaint with them from almost everyone but it’s a big plus.
Right side is still cutting in and out and it’s only been maybe 15 min with them. Going to see if this continues when using the balance cables and switching sides, if this is the case then there is some serious QA issue going on with these

Thank you. All this talk of fake ones made me momentarily paranoid"IE 900" is only on the left IEM.
Hi folks, I do appreciate given the last few posts people might be a bit wary, but I've just put my set of 900 on the classified. Posting here just in case there are some lurkers....

Well I'll be damned. Between this and the likely release of the Xperia 1 VI being released around may-june I'll be tempted into unreasonable spending but we'll cross that bridge when we get thereLooks like Akihabara has at least some of what you are looking for Better bring the "big" card when you go.
