I tried the e-pro horn tips (size L) this past summer and I just couldn't get a seal. I wish they made a XL version.
i am using large and i am getting perfect seal, i adore them, with epro tips the ie900 becomes closer to W shaped signature, it just amazing how this tip adds definition and detail to mids, and maintains this dynamic sound of ie900, let alone the bigger grander sound stage

epro tips and ie900=== just amazing

Wow got to try this one out. How is it different than the stock silicone?

This has opened my mind to a wireless future. Considering in the next few years we will have lossless Bluetooth or another wireless standard, even as it stands now playing lossy aac, this sounds 95% as good as wired imo.
Unbelievable how far things have come. I’ve got a wireless IE900 and it’s blowing my mind.

another very very interesting tip choice, is using final type e flip mod, if anyone has a final type e then try the flip mod

I actually tried this and it worked well. Quite unexpectedly it sounds as good as the stock silicone or maybe better. Didn’t have enough time to do comparison but it definitely sounds better than the OG Final Type E. Seal is very good too! Plus I can see the pink and grey nozzle on the tips now. Really recommended to try haha. The nozzles don’t go all the way in though. They are stuck at position 1. Here are the pics.

Bro, I am stuck on the modded Final Type E now. Thanks for the awesome tip. I think it sounds slightly better than the stock tips. Overall cleaner and better clarity. Can't wait for the Epro Horn-Shaped Tips that you recommended now. If it doesn't sound good, I will flip mod it :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I have ePro. Didn't think to try them with IE900. Will do so and report back here, compared to AET07.

Intrigued by the ePro pairing and my usual heightened sense of tip FOMO, I headed to Amazon Japan to order a set - but then it occurred to me, maybe I already have them...

That happens to me too all the time. You know how deep you are into this hobby when you've already tried all the posted suggestions and then try them all again (for the third time) :)

Yeah I am guessing so. It is tough to beat the already awesome stock silicone but this flipmod on the Final E just blew my mind. I know tips make difference but flipmod? Not that I know of until now. Amazing that SQ changes by just flipping it over. I might just flip all my other eartips :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Update: just gave ePro a go. Quite comfy (very soft silicone) and great sound, but not quite as punchy and clear as AET07, which remains my top pick for IE900. YMMV...
