@gLer , how do you feel about the Cleopatra pairing? Worth it or too bright?

I don't think it's too bright at all. Cleo is very smooth and surprisingly warmish for a silver cable. Plus it's an absolutely beautiful and very comfortable cable. That said I don't think the pairing is ideal for my preferences, as I prefer the IE 900's bass with a copper cable. I'll go into more detail in my Cleo review, which is coming up soon.

Would you say it's a good complement to the Dorado? I got the Dorado and thinking of buying these.

Congrats and welcome to the club! If anyone asks me what my choice would be for a single high-end IEM system, IE 900 is my current pick. Unless you're looking for something very specific you can only find in the $3K+ range of super high-end IEMs, IE 900 is incredible value for top-tier performance. Listening to them in bed right now and loving them every bit as much as I did on day one.

I had a chance to audition some $3K+ iems, even the $6K Bird. Nothing gave me that much joy then ie900. Just IMHO.

Im still looking for a cable for the IE900 that is similar in quality to the stock cable but just a little bit longer. 1,6m would be perfect for my usecase. I dont want to spend a fortune on it but also dont want some cheap trash cable. Something middle of the road similar in build to what comes in the box.
