Try LPGT Ti.
Today I made the switch to my iPad Air 4 from iPhone 11 Pro since I brought it with me outside and sound is even better. Better separation, wider soundstage and just about every thing from lows to highs has more kick. I did not try listening to the iPad initially because it only has 64GB. But now, I am bringing my iPad with me all the time haha. I just need to bring my backpack along so it's fine with me. Both are paired with the W2 with same settings. This further convinced me that I have to buy a DAP for the IE900.

Always interested in the LPGT along with HiBy, iBasso and Cayin as they are readily available in my local stores. But since I heard about the upcoming N8ii, I have to wait for it!

I hope you have deep pockets, I have a feeling N8ii won't be cheap, probably out of my price range.

N6ii + R01 is a great option with ie900 and offers a good price to performance compromise.

You really not sure what sound you prefer ? Seems you after various sounds.
I prefer warm bas and deep sub-bas, bright vocal and stellar highs. :xf_cool:

And the IE 900 is indeed on the list. Not saying that the Ireland production will be inferior, but glad to have gotten a "Made in Germany" batch :)

They'll become collectors items one day!

Received my pair today from Crutchfield, which still says "Made in Germany". So I guess I got lucky with my batch that hadn't switched over production yet. 😅

Well, the only bad thing I can say about these are the custom MMCX connector and the included silicone tips are really not to my taste (they seem to "soft"). But I've solved both of these issues with an adapter and a pair of SednaEarFit Crystal.
Yeah, I'm not getting a good seal with the stock silicone tips either which is disappointing. I had luck with the Crystals as well but I'm not sure I like the sound of those. I'm trying to stay as close to the stock sound profile as possible so just ended using the stock foam tips for now.

Using the spare CX400BT tips seem to seal better for me. I guess since they're a little shallower. I swapped the inner foam insulation over.

I got to share with you guys how beautiful the IE900 is. So I was listening with my IE900 on my iPad just now and there was a blackout. I put them down in front of my iPad to check it out. When I went back and saw how the IE900 is reflecting the light from the background of my iPad in the dark, I was speechless and thought to myself: Wow! I need to take a pic of this. Here it is.

It shows the print and curvy lines nicely. Just beautiful craftmanship.

Holy crap im impressed. My IE900 replacement seem to arrive tomorrow. Only 2 weeks is pure madness for this. Super happy with that especially because the women in the store told me to at the very least expect 4 weeks waiting period
I seriously envy you, but most importantly I'm glad that the procedure for the replacement is going well for you!
