Just read a really short review of these in a Swedish magazine and the guy said he preferred them to the HD800.

I know people that like their PortaPros better than all ToTL phones.  I guess that makes the HD700 redundant.

Why is it that with virtually any other headphone on the planet its ok when someone says he preferred them over some other headphones, but when someone says he preferred HD700 over something, especially the HD800, a flame war starts, as if the person who likes the HD700 doesn't know what he's talking about...everyone assumes he's deaf, because nobody can possibly like the HD700's, right? We all know those headphones sound terrible, right?  (even though 99,99% of people who think that didn't even hold them in their hands).

I greatly prefer the HD650 over the LCD-2. I'm sure my posts are meaningless to the masses as a result.

I listened to pop, soul and dance genres most of the time and prefer to use HD650 over HE-6. I don't own a HE-6 but a friend lend me his fully burned in HE-6 some time ago and HD650 did better with those genres.
