No idea. The Mojo is still good. Something like the Loxjie P20 is probably the best deal in cheaper tube amps. Especially if you roll some warmer tubes in it.

So been thinking about some budget amPs/DACs for the HD700. Ifi zen stack, topping L/E30 stack, topping dx3 pro, schiit magni and Modi stack, Loxjie P20, or Little dot mkii. Nothing in area has any of these to audition so will be blind purchase. Just wondering on thoughts to do the HD700 justice.
Or any other recommendations I've not come across? Xduoo xp-2?

Hey, we're always here to help wherever and however we can. You can ask awy here if it's related to Senns HD700, or shot me or @Sebastien Chiu a PM. Thanks!

If I may ask, does it feel bigger spatially, or in bass output?

While I love my HD700, it is true, they are not for everybody. I think that these phones had to have been some of the most polarizing sets I have read about. One either loves them or hates them. I am of the former camp...Heard a 700 yesterday

I can't wait until iBasso releases the tube amp card for the DX300. While these sound really good with the other 2 amp cards, I have to agree that they DO sound so much better with some good tubes. IIRC the best synergy I have heard with these was with the Bottlehead Crack, though I can't say for sure because I am doing purely mobile now (no desktop equipment). I use the iBasso DX160; for super pocket friendly use, and the iBasso DX300 for all other situations.

HD800 were even more polarizing I think and I still remember well how people went for either these cans or LCD-2

Just ordered a used pair of hd700 for gaming and music. I really liked the hd800. Will the hd700 sound a bit similar?
Yes, and no. Though for staging and imaging only the HD800 are better IMHO... The HD700 are like a cross between the HD650 and 800 IIRC.Just ordered a used pair of hd700 for gaming and music. I really liked the hd800. Will the hd700 sound a bit similar?
Just got my hd700 and wow I love these more then my old hd600 I had. The hd600 was dark and veil for me and the hd700 is nice and bright, wide stage and the vocals are amazing. I don’t know why sennheiser discounted these.
Mainly listen to EDM like illenium so it hits every mark for me with no eq. I don’t know why everyone hated the hd700? Only thing I can see that it’s a tad bit of sibilance but nothing crazy.

Not everyone did. After all this thread is 600 pages long.. Glad to see another person enjoying these like I (still) do... You should try these with a really good tube amp?!Just got my hd700 and wow I love these more then my old hd600 I had. I've almost got my pair, waiting to pay custom charges. Grr Brexit. I reckon with their unpopularity and discontinued makes them a bargain. For me the other pair I was interested in were the beyerdynamic amiron home, but the hd700 I came across was cheaper.Just got my hd700 and wow I love these more then my old hd600 I had.
