I looked at the picture and actually thought you were talking about the faceplates that are removable. Sorry! Those should be the exact same.

Nah mate, all good. We're talking about the part that's directly stuck to the grille: so, the dark plastic area. But yeah, the faceplates should be the same.

Looks like they sold out at the $505 price point. But another seller has them for $529. I ordered a pair at that. Will see where they slot into my collection (HD650, Beyer T90, Beyer T51i and soon to be an AKG K7xx).

Figure I'll give them a shot for a few weeks and decide to keep/return. I want to see how they sound, especially when my Gustard H10 gets here.

The Gustard H10 is great with them :)

I was able to get my hd700 for around $430 on amazon (used but it doesn't look like it's used, plus, it's from amazon warehouse).
for some reason, price goes upsi-downsy so much that after I bought the hd700, the price (on amazon) went up like $200.

It's 535 dollars. No big deal.

Amazon.com sells a used HD700 for 420 dollars.
You can get a used HD700 for 400 on Ebay.

It's now $543.53, so I guess you missed the price I previously posted. BTW, that price was NIB and an authorized dealer.
