Seeking a new recommendation to replace Uptowns

oppps.... the euphonic uptown didnt cut it for u huh..:p
i use the uptown for snoozzzing in town, not to wake me up.
 
I can feeeeeel the basss on the pro900...and denonD2000 or D7000..
and sometimes the drivers on my dt770/600 threatened to pop out on some of my music.

From what I have heard the JVC S500 offer a lot more that just bass. They are supposed to a very good budget headphone that punches way over it's price tag.

B&H is taking pre orders on a 32 ohm DT770. On the other hand I won't even listen to my 990 premium 32ohm on an ipod due to loss in SQ so there you go.....
