Hi friends,
I'm about to move from my Shure E-3C (which I love) to something higher end. From my researches, I've reached to models: Shure's SE 535 and UE's Triplefi 10.
Does anyone have these two models and want to post a quick review on them? What are your opinion about the sound quality? I know that the TF10 are not that confortable. What I want to know is: what are your conclusions? Which one do you prefer in terms of sound quality?
I've already heard people saying that the TF 10 are way crispier than the 535 and others sayin that the 535 have better soung quality.
If you could post your opinions, it would be great.

I have the Shure SE530, which I hear is similar to the SE535 in sound quality and am quite satisfied with their overall performance.  My only problem with them is the cabling, and the fact that I am constantly worried that I am going to break them.  This has been resolved with the new SE535s detachable card so you should be in good shape with this product.  Enjoy

TF10 has more bass and sound stage, but SE530 is detailed and is not sibilant.

The 535s have more SoundStage than the 530s.

Build and ergonomics aside, SE535 is much better SQ-wise as well. 
 
Bass:  About equal, perhaps slight edge to TF10Pro
Midrange:  SE535 by a mile...
Treble:  SE535 is just as detailed but more natural sounding.
Soundstage:  Very close.
 
Overall, I find SE535 to have much better clarity while TF10Pro sounds slightly veiled due to the cloudy, somewhat recessed midrange.

The UE10s had muddy mids and too sparkly treble and oooohhh the pain.....ooohhh the pain.

I've read that the 535s have a warm sound signature. Would that be something like the headphone Sennheiser HD 580 Precision? I own those and I love the bass, the fidelity and the overall sound feeling.

i recently got the 530's and the mids are sooooooooooooooooo nice
 
im just wondering im kinda scared about the cable too, would shure replace or fix damaged cables under warranty?

Errrr..the SE535s do not have a warm signature IMO...balanced yes...warm...not to my ears.

The ER4s are bright and the SE535s are balanced...IMHO.

Man, these 535s have really opened up for me. I have to eq for the bass that I desire a little bit, but everything is just freaking perfect!! Listen to "Soul Singing" on the Black Crowes' new "Croweology" album. It's just pure bliss. Still doesn't blow my FX700 away, but it's getting close in enjoyment with the SM3 and SM2, although two totally different sound signatures. I'm falling in love with Shure again.
