Roll Call for Team AKG

Yay this thread is still alive...

Got some major life changes in the works, so anybody interested in some of my old AKG swag? I still have **** like the jacket, banner, lighted sign, hat, etc. Maybe could do something fun with it in some kinda contest or something? I dunno, I don't have time for going hardcore on this hobby anymore, haven't for years and getting married doesn't help that, so I need to clear out some of this stuff. The hat's a gorram celebrity, since so many people have stolen my photos from a few years ago to use on ebay for several different vintage AKGs, so it's special or sommat, right? Eh... whatever.

(wondering if there's still anyone here who even knows who I am...)

Yes, the hat is practically a legend. I bet loads of people would love to get their hands on it.... more practical than a big glowing sign

I've been looking for that hat for the better part of 4 years since I discovered its existence creeping through your old FS ads. A contest would be spiffy!

The jacket would be awesome! I've got the k702s, k518djs and some k240 studios on the way (with some mk2 pads) but I've found a set of AKG cans I didn't like, the k450's, I'm not sure if I got a bad pair but there is no treble at all with them

Ordered and received a black K619 (K618DJ with remote) a few days ago as replacement for my B&W P5's. As I listen to DnB and trip-hop a lot, I am very very happy!

Also very impressed by the usability improvements for portable use over the K518 (less clamp, better pads, one sided nice cable with remote, better pouch etc.). It also looks a lot better.

Actually, the only thing I'll miss from the P5's is it's very pleasant listening experience for folk and acoustic music.
