Tested the Shure today. Sounded like stats in an iem, for better and for worse. Thing is halfway through my first song the song suddenly distorted very significantly (like a cable connection is loose) and turning the volume up or down didn't help (ie, this is not clipping). Finally had to turn off and on the song again and then it was back.

Sounded like software or hardware issues. For that price you're paying, it doesn't feel bullet proof just yet.

i think he means they have better clarity , that way more details are coming to you ( = resolution)

meybe something like better/clearer highs ? at least this is the idea i get about galaxy , they are like pure water while solar has a bit of sugar and orange juice taste

Make sure you get a good fit, had to try many tips before finding one that works for me - Sony Medium Hybrids
