[Review] Phonak PFE-232 vs Shure SE535
Jun 9, 2012 at 7:25 AM Post #31 of 35
Updated the review. Added the J3 source which i got back from RMA.
Also included my experience on the plane regarding isolation of the 2.

@Basketball: Did you already try the Audeo's?
@Dacmo: Already any experience comparing the 012's with the 232's?

Even with something you settled on, sometimes you just want a different signature today than other days. I often go back and forth between my ie8 one day and my pfe 232 the next. If you can afford just one, the PFE lets you change filter so you can mix it up a bit.

  Great comparison!

Could you tell me if the 232 ear tips fit the 535s? I have 535s with custom tips and am hoping they can be used with the 232s.

Thanks.

I tried it the other day. The tip of the Phonak is a little wider, but i could put the eartip on it with normal effort. Sounds nice too ... actually a lot better then the comply foams ...

The only thing is that the shure tips aren't as comfortable on the longer run.
