I have to say, I am a touch ambivalent about the glossy black finish...

You really care that much about the color with an earbuds of such a low profile look?

I don't really care for the shiny black either. it wouldn't keep me from buying them though. only the price and the size will do that.

I am finding the second version of the sansa bud to work great for mountainbiking.

*chuckle* Not really...as you say, its a pretty low-profile item that hardly anyone will notice...compared to the other Blox looks from before, its a tad more, for want of a better term, daring though.

Price and comparisons to the M2C will be my main considerations.

so it's significantly better than the MC2?

With the level where M2c is at, I won't call any earbuds as being 'significant better'. But TM7 is better than M2c, no doubt about that.

That's what I was worried about.

The M2C is hard to beat, and even having paid the full $50 to order a pair on my own, I have no regrets and cannot find a better replacement. They even beat out my PK1 in some respects, and those retail at 3 times the price...

I am really glad I got a pair now, especially since they aren't available anymore...

I assume they're the same size as the M2C? Is it the same cord? I'm ready to buy something else because of how stiff mine are. They curve out on an angle and constantly catch on my clothes.

Fantastic...not as expensive as I thought they might end up being...anyone with a pair of M2C going to order some and do a comparison?

I would love to try the new TM7 someday just to see what a "high end" earbud sounds like. I just picked up a pair of M2C's this week thanks to a kind Head-fi'er and I really like them. It is a nice step up/to the side from my five year old PK3's, plus they lack the dreaded J-Cord (Bleh!). They have a nice amount of airiness to them even though they sacrifice a bit of the lower end weight the Yuin's had. Paired with my Clip+ and brand new E6, I am really enjoying this setup as my work rig.
