[REVIEW] Aurisonics ASG-2 & 2.5 (with many comparisons)

It shows you're not a Headphoneus Supremus (don't think you'll ever be one, TBH). When will you / people learn that the higher the model number / more letters in the name (SUI = 3; KURO = 4; KAEDE = 5), the better the product is? If there's a significant price difference between the SUI and the KAEDE, it is for a reason.


As for Romy and SoundFreaq, please don't get me started on those two, particularly the former.

Considering that I routinely recommend the Apple earpods as some kinda paragon of price/performance value, and listen to compressed files on my iPhone like some kinda rube you're probably right :l

Edit - I'd like to amend the aforementioned by stating that its quite obvious that Music1234 is just spiteful cause the recent wave of masterfully tuned hybrids, namely the RDB+ 2v1 and the T-Peos H-100 have ousted his erstwhile fave, the K3003 as the experimental, incoherent failure it is. It's no wonder that he's lashing out, cause legends live forever, while FOTMs come and go

okay what type of connectors then ? westones ? im looking for replaceable cable for my new ASG-2 thats coming in like 4 days or so 
and i got alot to plan , 
if you want to help me , either get a new amp to replace a C&C X02 or get a new dap to replace an ipod classic ( looking at the fiio X3 )

The stock cable is perfect as is, and it sounds just as good from my iPhone 4 as it does from any amp I've heard.

Thanks Eke just kinda paranoid , my Dog just got to my DT880 that i left on the table...dont know how she got to it but now im DIYing new cable on them...

All the more reason for you never to become a Headphoneus Supremus — you were not supposed to make that information public. I guess the expression "Shame on you!" is very fitting in this case.

If that happens just order a new one from Aurisonics... It uses Westone, but honestly, their stock cable is fantastic (If a bit short for me, so I got a Moon Audio Silver Dragon). I think its like $40 from them which is a good price.

Supremus or not, this is no time to play favorites Muzak5678, the general public browsing this forum deserves to know that the K3003 is the equivalent of having shards of glass blasted into your ears haphazardly coupled with a fart canon. If bass so slow and murky that you've got to crack a window just readin this is your kinda thing, then by all means fellow reader, gamble away your hard earned cash.

*Note that I have not heard the phones in question, but that several individuals of repute have brought to my attention that the aforementioned is in fact, for reals, possibly veering upon for cereal, such is its degree of veracity.

If that happens just order a new one from Aurisonics... It uses Westone, but honestly, their stock cable is fantastic (If a bit short for me, so I got a Moon Audio Silver Dragon). I think its like $40 from them which is a good price.

The stock cable is indeed quite excellent, and a second favorite to the Flat-4s. It's light, supple, and resistant to coiling, and kinking. That and its cheap, nice and cheap

Nice thanks for the advice kyuuketsuki san ,, looking it this argument between music_4321...is it about the AKG-3003 ? LOL last week i went to the Dr with my SRH-1840 on my neck and my Dr saw it and asked about it , then he told me to go check out the AKG-3003 and that its a big step above what i have tried ...any comments guys ? i got to use the TG334 , TF10 , HD800 , LCD 2 and 3 , SRH-1840 , DT880 , heaven s and was very fortunate to demo the amazing Piano Forte VIII and the Piano Forte X ( these should be in the same price range as the AKG-3003) , i never got to try the AKG-3003 , but after hearing the Forte X , id say its got very tough competition ahead of it

REALLY !?!?! even the ASG-2 out performs it !?!?! seriously !?!?! i dont even !!!... if you can please update and add the 3003 comparison eke please , i saw the 3003 , was thinking that it will be my upgrade after the AGg-2 as i like that design alot
