[REVIEW] Aurisonics ASG-2 & 2.5 (with many comparisons)

I've got one question for the aurisonics AS-2 is that will it be a great match with the ray samuel *the shadow* amplifier connected to an ipod.

I tried this amplifier (not with Ipod though) and it sounds VERY dark to me. So I am not sure that with an iem that is already on the dark side...

Opinion seems to be divide. I think for the consumers the bass port is really non-essential. You cannot use the bass port passed the 1 mark as it just becomes to muddy.

I haven't tried my AS-2 with the Shadow yet; I had thought my AS-2 might be back this week.  I have tried it with the TG334 and 1+2 and it sounds good with both.  I don't find the Shadow too dark.  In fact it has pretty forward treble response; actually the entire presentation is forward, which was the opposite of what I expected.  However it does add a touch of warmth to the upper bass/lower mid and the bass is pretty punchy.  I quite like it with my ipod nano 6g and keep it permanently attached.  That being said, of the small amps, I prefer the Pico Slim as I think it is an all around step above the Shadow and has a better volume control.

Well after searching for the bass valve for two days, I could not find it on the IE800 so I gave up

Let us now zoom in for a closer look


Please acquirer a coin from the waifu, any coin will do(must be American).


Simply insert the coin into the groove of the base valve, please be sure u are smiling as to not frighten the IE800's. Now turn the dial slowly counterclockwise, remember to hold your smile firmly(extremely vital)! U may stop anywhere within a 431.1 degree radio.

Congratulations! U have now learned how to adjust your IE800 bass valve. Give yourself a pat on the back, it is well deserved. Here is your complementary cupcake...
