Received my asg g2.5 yesterday, and I can hear the difference between them and the G2. Not night and day, but different enough for me to keep both, which I'm surprised at. The 2.5 sound clearer, especially in the mids, with slightly more sub bass. The G2 just sound like there is more going on. I could be happy with either, but why not happier with both?? Keepers.

put a Silver cable, it will open it up. I also demioed a expensive Copper one which really opened the already big sound stage.

Well its discontinued so each week less and less places. The Metal versions have a bit more sub bass. The metal 2.5s come in Nickel or Gold. Best to search on the internet a get it now. If not then search for a used 2.5.

And ? I usually keep them at 40% open. One at 20%, another 30% and the other 40%.
