got my Nuansa P1 and A1 a couple of days ago
a couple of initial challenges like FAT32
but once I figure that out its been a great discovery
no fancy android, glassy screens that are fingerprint magnets, or menu hell
just turn on play and advance thru albums and tracks
I tested my NightOwls, Beyer 770Pro 250 and Sennheiser 6xx
still need to unbox my massdrop HiFiman 4xx that arrived today
But for this combo so far I really like and prefer the Sennheisers
very even and open
Happily listening to Cheskys Greatest Audiophile Acoustic Vocalists from HD tracks
I wonder how this compares to the Altman Tera Player
anyone listen to both

And much thanks and congrats to TJ
great accomplishment

I have owned both. The Tera is still the best sounding DAP I have owned but the P1 comes about as close as anything I have heard.

i ran a test yesterday with some co-workers
Nuansa P1 vs the new Hiby R3 versus the new Hidiz AP60 Pro
everyone picked the Nuansa P1
They all said it sound "more open", "unique" and added a "special feeling" to the music
Is that what they call musicality or definition?
I know I can hear more stuff in my tracks using the Nuansa P1 that I could with anything else I've tried so far.
Getting some snap crackle and pop with certain formats so I think I downgrade or upgrade to straight non compressed wav or aiff formats

I really the little guy, simple and clean open sounding with decent power

I had issues with crack and pop too with flac files, I transcode them to FLAC 16bit 48 or 44.1hrz depending of the source with the lowest compression level (0)
the nuansa is picky and some files that plays fine on my computer would easily make glitches on the nuansa because they are lightly corrupted.
Wav format is a hit or miss for me. Only few records in wav works, I can't figure out why but flac has more consistent success.
On the website it say the player support up to 24b but doesn't work for me (not a big deal anyway)

Happy to have another Nuansa P1 convert around. Enjoy!
